Meredith Salenger
Salenger lived in Malibu. Her passion for acting was performing in front of her loved ones and relatives as a young child. Aged 8 when her mom enrolled her in her first course of acting. Salenger played a small role in the film as "a singing and dancing orphan" in John Huston's feature film Annie. Salenger played a variety of TV ads. Salenger was the first to appear for The Journey of Natty Gann from Disney and included John Cusack alongside Ray Wise. This film won the Moscow Film Festival's Gold Medal as the first movie made in America. In addition, the film won her "Best Actress in a Drama" as part of the Youth in Film Awards for her portrayal as the charming Natty Gann. In her early 20s, she starred in another four movies, including A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. Then she moved to Harvard in order to pursue her studies.
